Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops

Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops is a downtown hotel wedding venue at 540 Victoria Street, offering roughly 5,400 square feet of wedding space across five event rooms — including what the hotel describes as the largest venue in downtown Kamloops, with room for up to 200 guests. Couples can hold a ceremony, reception, or both on site, and all wedding spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

The Rivers Room is the hotel's main reception space, located on the main floor with over 2,620 square feet, 12-foot ceilings, and large picture windows framing the Kamloops skyline, plus multi-level lighting to set the mood. Recent updates include built-in digital and audiovisual technology and three wall-mounted 70" HDTV screens. It can be divided into Rivers West and Rivers East for smaller gatherings, and the hotel also offers the Mt. Paul and Ridge rooms for intimate dinners. One floor up, the Mountview Terrace is a covered rooftop terrace with panoramic views and floor-to-ceiling windows, offering more than 1,750 square feet for up to 100 guests for a ceremony and reception, with a portable stage, LCD projector, screen, podium and wireless microphone available.

Planning is supported by a Marriott Certified Wedding Planner, who helps couples set a budget, choose a menu, arrange table settings and connect with florists, photographers, DJs and other vendors from a curated list provided after booking. The catering team, banquet manager, outlet director and Executive Chef handle food and beverage, with customizable menus that accommodate dietary needs and allergies. The venue provides tables, chairs, linens, place settings, glassware, easels and table numbers, and personal décor is welcome — including real candles when safely contained.

As a full-service hotel, Delta Kamloops can also host the wedding party and out-of-town guests, with personalized booking services and room blocks, an on-site restaurant (Cordo Resto + Bar), a rooftop pool and hot tub, a fitness centre and pet-friendly guest rooms. Receptions run until 1:00 AM (earlier on Sundays), and décor doesn't need to be removed until the following day.
