About Sun Peaks Resort
Sun Peaks Resort is a four-season alpine village 45 minutes from Kamloops in British Columbia's interior, and Canada's second-largest ski area with 4,400 acres of terrain. Rather than a single ballroom, the resort offers a collection of wedding venues spread across its pedestrian village and mountainside — from hotel ballrooms and lodges to restaurants, gardens, alpine meadows and a mid-mountain chapel. Couples can exchange vows among alpine blossoms in summer or with snow beneath their feet in winter, then celebrate indoors in what the resort describes as the "blank canvas" of its indoor venues.
Capacities range widely. The Sun Peaks Grand Ballroom, Sun Peaks Centre, The Annex and Tod Mountain View each host up to 300 guests, while the Gardens at the Covered Bridge accommodates up to 200 for ceremonies.
