The Rise Resort

The Rise Resort is a golf and dining resort perched roughly 1,000 feet above Okanagan Lake in the Bella Vista Highlands west of Vernon, British Columbia, set on the Fred Couples/Gene Bates-designed Rise Signature Golf Course. The resort's event venue pairs sweeping lake and valley views with an outdoor ceremony space on the golf course and an elegant indoor reception room, giving couples both a scenic backdrop and a full-service banquet facility on site.

The main reception space, the Stellar Room, is a roughly 2,000-square-foot banquet room that holds up to 200 guests and comes with its own private bar and an outdoor patio for taking in the Okanagan scenery. For larger celebrations, the resort's Edge Restaurant & Bar can host receptions for 300-plus guests with panoramic lake and valley views, while the smaller Apatite Room offers a more intimate private-dining option for around 15-16 people and can be reserved as a getting-ready space for the bridal party for an additional fee.

Food and beverage is handled in-house by the resort's kitchen and bar team, with wedding packages built around a minimum food-and-beverage spend rather than a flat rental fee. The venue plans for BC's variable weather with a patio backup and the option to delay an outdoor ceremony if needed, and the wedding team works with couples from initial planning through day-of coordination.
